A whopping 16 litres of cooking volume is included, and the handy interlocking rack and rotisserie system converts to further increase space if needed. This means meals for 6-8 people are easily within reach, which adds greatly to our editor’s pick.
Full stainless steel construction that’s built to last. Plastics are used far too often in culinary equipment, which can lead to leaching of toxic chemicals into food, particularly when exposed to high temperatures. The Bonzachef Stainless is well named, as it is made entirely of food grade stainless steel. As a bonus, the black finish looks great in nearly any kitchen.
Smart, easy to use accessories and controls. Need to make french fries? No problem. How about rotisserie chicken? Popcorn? Bonzachef have included stainless steel accessories for everything. One of our favourites is the rotisserie rack, which produces perfectly moist rotisserie chicken every time.

Trendy design for an air fryer. Philips have become a legendary name in the appliance design world, and the Airfryer XXL lives up to the name. The build look is clearly meant for luxury kitchens with a modern, bulbous top loading design that sets it apart visually from other air fryers. The added gold accents are a nice touch, and helps the product look like a high priced sports car rather than a convection oven.
Excellent overall frying capabilities with one major note. The Air Fryer XXL makes a mean fry. French fries are crispy, chicken is tender, and veggies come out perfectly roasted. That said, Philips opted for use of food grade plastics throughout the product. An increasing body of scientific evidence associates plastics used during cooking with lifelong health problems. For us, it’s a better safe than sorry.
Controls are complex to use. The Airfryer XXL features an awkward set of buttons that defies traditional kitchen appliance logic. We can assume this was done to complete the look, however fidgeting around through menus with buttons that don’t explain their function can be frustrating, and gets old very quickly.
Capacity and top loading design is not adequate for larger families. While capacity is noted in the XXL naming convention, it isn’t exactly living up to the reality of modern family living. Meals can get big, and while Philips indicates a 15 litre capacity, in practice we found the top loading tray system to limit cooking size. A family of 4 is well served, but cooking for more could be a concern.

The stainless steel finish feels sturdy, and internal elements match this metal composition. In short, this air fryer is exactly as presented.
Dodgy loading door that works most of the time. Opening and closing the Power Airfryer 360 can be annoying thanks to a tightly loaded door that requires a bit too much force to open and shut, resulting in slamming and occasional accidental spillage. A simple update could fix this issue, but has not been implemented at the time of this review.
Built for quick and easy meal prep, but may not be for you. While Emeril and company have build an admirable air fryer, the capacity is meant for couples, not families. Meals for 4 or more could be tedious to prepare in batches, which makes an otherwise excellent product less than adequate for larger families.

The Cuisinart brand is perhaps the most readily associated with kitchen products like toaster ovens. Their answer to the air fryer market was to adapt an existing technology to a new format. The result is mediocre at best. Knobs instead of digital controls are confusing and imprecise, and the small size of the unit is further confounded by a complex rack system that eats up a lot of space. And while the brushed aluminum shell is pleasant, it feels flimsy and thin, causing us to question durability over the long term.
